Russ Riddle is a Washington State based woodworker and furniture maker who

designs and crafts fine furniture in a variety of exotic and domestic woods.

Rather than working in a particular style, Russ' studio furniture reflects

inspirations from the world around him, including architecture, plant and animal

forms, and the human form. He sees his art as celebrating the beauty of nature,

and he often incorporates dramatic, figured woods in his pieces. He also makes

judicious use of inlay, parquetry and marquetry to help define the form and

design and to add visual interest and drama to his pieces.
